One of the best Amateur Golf Tournaments in the nation has come to Seattle and the Puget Sound.

2008 American Amateur Championship - Golf Tournament

     

The AAC will try to accommodate all types of players of all ages, skills, etc.. We will have a division for all players.  Based on the different amount of players signing up, we have layed out a tentative overview of the divisions: 

  • Mens Handicap Divisions (1-36)

  • Womens Handicap Divisions (1-36)
    __________________________________________________
  • Mens Senior (Age 55 and Up) Division Handicap (1-36)
    __________________________________________________

Please note: the approximate number of flights are is 8-20 players per flights.  Each flight will have approx. 2 to 6 players advancing to Chambers Bay per flight.  Flights and divisions are subject to change based on availability and handicaps of participating players. 

We will try to keep similar handicaps against each other. 
For example:  John Smith is a 11 handicap and will play against 16 other 11 and 12 handicaps in his flight.  The top 4 advance to Chambers Bay to compete for the Flight Title as well as a chance for 2008 American Amateur Champion.

* Chambers Bay does not allow golf carts.
